This weekend I took on the role of
A Sister. Who happily filled in for her brother in law.
A Travel Companion. An 800 kilometre road trip to Bloemfontein which was over in a blink of an eye.
A Chauffeur. Who escorted two very excited high schoolers to their much anticipated Matric Farewell.
A Photographer. One of many photographers who tried to capture a piece of a day that will without doubt be remembered for a long time.
A Proud Aunty. To the boy who made me an Aunt 18 years ago. I got a lump in my throat more than once this weekend.
A Spectator. An outsider peeking into the magical world of boarding school and the friendships that are formed there.
A Tourist. Bloemfontein our time was fleeting. Thank you for the hospitality.
Can’t believe he’s in matric!! Makes me realise how long I’ve known you!!
